Here's a little something different from me: fan art! I'm usually so busy with my own characters that I don't get a free second to do a piece just for fun (all those designs I put up are for an actual comic I'm working on), but I was in a funk today and couldn't motivate myself. I decided to flip through my to-do list outside of MIDNIGHT THEATRE and ZEPPELIN HEIGHTS when I remembered that Gaston25 just had a birthday and I owed him a gift, especially after he did a rocking' job on Night-Terror-fan-art-430657163 and Doc-Stone-Stavros-fan-art-431593202. It took me awhile to narrow down who I was gonna draw from his awesome gallery of characters -- he's got tons of great designs -- but I found Random-Character-14-356277660 to have a ton of charm. It wasn't more than five minutes into working on her drawing that I was in a better mood and forgetting my troubles. I wanted to do more on the illo -- her hair didn't get much love in the rendering department and that border could be spiced up pretty easily -- but other duties called. Still, I'll remember what to do the next time I'm having one of those low days -- I'll draw something that makes me smile and hopefully makes someone else happy, too!
